A Firewall is a Must!

A firewall will help to prevent back door hackers or malicious programmers accessing your system without authorisation. Although a Software Firewall such as Zone Alarms or Windows XP are better than nothing they are far from ideal. Viruses today are capable of turning off software Firewalls allowing your PC to become open to abuse. We Strongly advise each of our clients to use a Hardware Firewall that will protect the Gateway of your Internet connection.

These devices can be stand alone or all-in-one solutions ie ADSL Router/Modem/Firewall and Wireless point. A software firewall can be used in conjunction with these for added security.

As a Internet Security Specialist, we will only use quality tested products from companies such as Zyxel.
